Estimate what a quantum computation would require, compare the assumptions that estimate rests on, and identify the conditions hardware would have to satisfy for it to be worth doing.
It answers three questions: how much logical and physical resource a workload needs, which assumptions that answer depends on, and what performance, runtime, throughput and cost would have to reach to beat a classical baseline you supply. It does not predict when any of that will happen — a crossing date needs a hardware forecast, and a forecast presented as a calculation is the least defensible number this platform could show you.
